The Fergana regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, together with the regional department for family and women's affairs, is consistently continuing work to ensure public employment, involve unemployed people in entrepreneurial activities and expand their sources of income.

As part of the cooperation, "Entrepreneurship and Business Fundamentals" training courses were organized in the Kushtepa district for segments of the population included in the "Women's Notebook", "Youth Notebook" and "Single Register of Social Protection," as well as for self-employed citizens interested in entrepreneurship. During the training, participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge in business management, marketing, financial management, state registration of entrepreneurial activity, taxation and tax incentives and business planning.

Following the training, a number of new entrepreneurial initiatives were implemented and additional jobs were created.

Specifically, O. Mirzamurodova, a resident of the "Kumtepa" MFY, received sewing machines through subsidies after completing training courses with the assistance of the hokim's assistant and the mahalla's family and women's issues specialist and organized her own entrepreneurial activity in the field of sewing. Currently, she is training 4 unemployed women in the profession of a seamstress and plans to further expand her activities through a preferential loan.

Furthermore, Sh. Gafurova, a resident of the Shakar MFY, successfully completed short-term entrepreneurship courses, registered as an individual entrepreneur and organized a private home kindergarten in her home based on public-private partnerships. As a result of the project's implementation, 4 unemployed citizens have been provided with permanent employment.

Such initiatives contribute to the development of small business and family entrepreneurship in the region, increasing the economic activity of women and youth and ensuring public employment.
