A roundtable discussion dedicated to the development of the semiconductor industry was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship with the participation of Malaysian and Korean experts, representatives of ministries, research institutes, and higher educational institutions.

Speaking at the opening of the event, a representative of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship emphasized the prospects for the development of the semiconductor industry in Uzbekistan, the importance of scientific and practical research, and the need to study foreign experience.

After that, the participants discussed issues of personnel training, implementation of scientific developments in practice, and localization in production. Malaysian and Korean experts shared information about the experience of their countries, existing problems, and the work being carried out to solve them. 

Initiatives of the "Uzelteksanoat" Association, the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies, the Institute of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics, and other organizations were also presented.

In conclusion, the participants agreed to cooperate on the production of semiconductor products based on scientific developments, localization of components, personnel training, and expansion of international cooperation.
