Small business and entrepreneurship are sectors where labor is applied and a source of income for a significant portion of the population. Today, small business has become one of the important factors of economic development in our country and the main source for filling the market with necessary goods and services. The development of small business is one of the key areas of structural transformation in Uzbekistan’s economy. This sector creates a competitive environment, contributes to the creation of additional jobs, and boosts the income of the population.

Who is it for?

The Master's program is intended for individuals who wish to start entrepreneurial activities, for those who want to deepen their professional knowledge for further growth, and for individuals who wish to implement their own economic activities.

Program Goal:

The program aims to form entrepreneurial competencies by teaching the theory and practice of business in the Master's specialty "70410901 - Organization of Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship" (Business Innovations and Entrepreneurship).

  • Developing skills in entrepreneurship and revealing the conceptual foundations of the Master's program.

  • Issuing laws and regulations for the development, encouragement, and expansion of entrepreneurship, and ensuring the legal and organizational foundations of entrepreneurial activities.

  • Organizing entrepreneurship in modern conditions, introducing the organizational forms of entrepreneurship, the procedure for registering businesses, and the operating conditions of small enterprises.

  • Exploring the processes of establishing private and small enterprises, the stages of business implementation.

  • Mastering business planning rules.

    Requirements for Candidates:

    • Higher education and at least 3 years of work experience after university graduation;
    • Under 45 years of age (age limit applies only to full-time study).

    • Interview (based on general work activity);
    • DTM-conducted tests (in the specialty and English language).

    English Language Privileges:

    • B2 level according to CEFR;
    • IELTS score of 5.0;
    • TOEFL score of at least 72.

    Applicants wishing to enter the master's program must submit an application addressed to the Director of the Higher School via the website, attaching copies of the following documents:

    1. Recommendation letter signed by top officials of government bodies, economic associations, NGOs, and business entities;
    2. Copy of higher education diploma;
    3. Color photo, size 4x6;
    4. Passport (original to be presented at the exam);
    5. Standard-format certificate confirming English proficiency (if available).
