History of the GSBE

  • The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 904 dated December 30, 2024, "On measures to effectively organize the activities of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan", defined the status and main tasks of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and approved new organizational frameworks for scientific and educational activities in accordance with international standards for business education and management personnel training.

  • In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 21, 2022, No. UP-269 "On measures to implement the administrative reforms of New Uzbekistan" and the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 4, 2023, No. PP-108 "On measures to expand scientific approaches to the implementation of economic reforms and further improve the system of training management personnel," the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economy and Finance was established.

  • In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 26, 2020, "On measures to radically update state policy on economic development and poverty reduction," the Abu Rayhan Beruni Republican Graduate School of Business and Management under the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was reorganized into the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 5, 2018, No. PP-3930 "On additional measures to improve the system of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of corporate and project management," the Corporate Governance Research and Education Center under the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was transformed into the Abu Rayhan Beruni Republican Graduate School of Business and Management under the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • In May 2018, by Resolution No. PP-3720 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Measures to Improve the State Asset Management System," the Scientific and Educational Center for Corporate Governance was transferred to the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • In April 2015, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to introduce modern methods of corporate governance in joint-stock companies," the Corporate Governance Scientific and Educational Center was established at the Graduate School of Business under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • In October 2014, in accordance with Resolution No. 282 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Graduate School of Business under the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was transformed into the Graduate School of Business under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  • The Graduate School of Business was established in accordance with Resolution No. 222 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated May 18, 2001, "On the Establishment of the Graduate School of Business under the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
