Currently, the development of entrepreneurship, employment of the population and the sustainable operation of small business entities are among the key areas of socio-economic development. In particular, the support of women’s entrepreneurship in the regions and the creation of new jobs through the development of professional skills are of significant importance.
A resident of the city of Nukus, K. Abibullayeva, completed a training course titled “Marketing Services and Organization of Advertising for Goods and Services”, organized by the Karakalpak regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, with the aim of developing her business activities, expanding her sources of income and strengthening modern business management skills.
During the training, she gained practical knowledge and skills in business organization, marketing fundamentals, self-employment mechanisms, as well as opportunities to access preferential financial support.
As a result of the acquired knowledge, K. Abibullayeva established her own sewing production and is currently operating as an independent entrepreneur. Her average monthly net profit is about 15 million soums. The high quality of her products, along with timely and efficient order fulfillment, has significantly increased customer trust. As a result, the number of new orders is growing daily, and her business is steadily expanding. In addition, a large order worth 25 million soums has already been secured for the upcoming period.
During the establishment of her business, practical support was provided by the regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship: she was registered as a self-employed individual, assisted in submitting a credit application through the “oilakredit.uz” platform and supported in purchasing the necessary equipment to start her activities.
Currently, K. Abibullayeva is not only increasing her income but also contributing to local employment. She also conducts mentoring activities, training five female students in sewing skills, guiding them toward professional development and sharing practical experience.
The knowledge and practical experience gained continue to contribute to the expansion of her business, increased income, and the development of small business and handicrafts in the region.
