Program "From Poverty to Prosperity" #GSBE #GraduateSchool #RegionalBranch #BusinessEducation

These courses were organized in accordance with Presidential Decree No. PQ-12 dated 17.01.2025 “On Measures to Ensure Employment and Reduce Poverty in 2025” and Decree No. PQ-330 “On Priority Measures to Implement the Program ‘From Poverty to Prosperity’.” The courses were aimed at youth, women, and those interested in entrepreneurship and focused on the direction of “Fundamentals of Business and Entrepreneurship.”

The main goals of organizing such training courses were:

  • To ensure employment in the regions, engage the population in entrepreneurship, increase their income, introduce new approaches, establish targeted work with vulnerable groups in local communities, expand social services, and create high-income jobs by increasing the efficiency of using available resources, benefits, and preferences;

  • To attract proactive citizens in communities to entrepreneurship, develop new projects based on their business ideas, provide credit support, and offer project implementation assistance;

  • To provide financial services at every stage of the entrepreneurship chain — from self-employment and individual entrepreneurship to small and medium-sized businesses;

  • To establish cooperative ties with entrepreneurs for the guaranteed purchase of products grown on household plots and leased lands, and to finance such projects;

  • To prioritize employment of members of low-income families through the launch of entrepreneurial projects;

  • To promote banking services through local assistant agents, improve the financial literacy of the population, and attract new clients.

Through these training courses, participants — including youth, women, and those interested in entrepreneurship — received essential knowledge and practical skills. They were provided with comprehensive information on topics such as starting and growing a business, marketing, types of markets, competition, pricing, export and import operations, electronic trading platforms, and more.

More than 50 participants took part in these training courses. Those who successfully passed the testing phase were awarded certificates from the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The participants gained valuable insights and knowledge beneficial to their future entrepreneurial activities.
