Training Program on Ensuring Gender Equality in the System of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” Successfully Concluded

On April 24, 2026, at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a training program aimed at improving the knowledge and professional skills of the heads and members of advisory councils established within the enterprises and organizations of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men was successfully concluded.

This training program was designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of gender equality principles in the corporate environment and covered a wide range of theoretical and practical issues from the implementation of gender policy and conducting gender audits to the development of leadership skills and enhancement of employees’ personal effectiveness.

During the training sessions, participants studied mechanisms for introducing gender policy in enterprises, the role and responsibilities of advisory councils, as well as the relationship between gender balance and organizational performance indicators. Particular attention was also given to international experience in conducting gender audits and developing internal principles, including the preparation of roadmaps and the formation of a system of gender indicators for JSC “Uzbekneftegaz”.

The practical part of the program included developing communication and negotiation skills, increasing initiative and goal-setting abilities, conducting SWOT analysis, and preparing personal development plans. In addition, participants gained practical skills in stress management, building emotional resilience, and effectively resolving conflicts within work teams.

A ceremonial closing event was held upon completion of the program, during which participants were awarded professional development certificates.

The implementation of this training program contributed to strengthening the institutional capacity of enterprises within the JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” system, as well as improving management efficiency and developing corporate culture through equipping participants with practical skills for implementing gender equality principles in practice.
