Announcement of Admission to Doctoral Programs (DSc, PhD) of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship
In accordance with the requirements of the Regulation “On Postgraduate Education”, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017 “On Measures for Further Improvement of the Postgraduate Education System”, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship announces admission for independent doctoral research (PhD, DSc) for the year 2026 in the following specialties:
08.00.16 – Digital Economy and International Digital Integration
08.00.15 – Economics of Small Business and Entrepreneurship
08.00.13 – Management
08.00.07– Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit

List of Documents Required for Admission to Independent Doctoral Research (DSc):
Personal data form (curriculum vitae);
Copy of the diploma of higher education, Candidate of Sciences, or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), or other academic degrees equivalent to them obtained abroad;
Copies of published scientific works;
Scientific report on the research topic and a detailed draft dissertation plan for obtaining the Doctor of Sciences (DSc) degree;
Reference (characteristic) from the place of employment.
Note: The following persons are eligible for admission to the DSc program:
Persons holding the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), or other equivalent academic degrees obtained in foreign countries;
Persons who have achieved significant scientific results after obtaining the degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), or equivalent degrees obtained abroad, including at least three scientific articles published in academic journals and at least two theses published in the proceedings of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, or other collections of scientific works in relevant fields, which may serve as the basis for a doctoral (DSc) dissertation.
Applicants for the DSc program must pass a specialty interview conducted by the Admission Committee.Selection of applicants for independent doctoral research (DSc) is carried out by the Admission Committee based on the results of the interview.In case of equal final interview scores among several applicants, priority is given to candidates who:
Have more than 5 years of academic and pedagogical experience;
Hold author’s certificates or patents;
Have monographs (for social and humanitarian sciences) and a greater number of scientific articles related to the dissertation topic published in relevant academic journals, including foreign journals;
Have completed more than 50 percent of the dissertation research.
List of Documents Required for Admission to Independent Doctoral Research (PhD):
Personal data form (curriculum vitae);
Copy of a Master’s degree diploma or a higher education diploma (in relevant specialties) for registration as an independent applicant for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree;
Copies of scientific publications;
Reference (characteristic) from the place of employment.
Note: The following persons may apply for independent doctoral research for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree:
Persons holding a Master’s degree or a higher education diploma (in relevant specialties);
Persons having scientific publications (at least 1 article and 2 theses).
Selection of applicants for independent doctoral research (PhD) is carried out by the Admission Committee based on the results of the interview.
