In honor of the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the International Anti-Corruption Day, marked on December 9, a spiritual and educational event was organized by the Graduate school of business and entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event aimed at enhancing the legal literacy of faculty members, staff and master’s listeners, improving preventive and explanatory work, as well as strengthening scientific-theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of combating corruption. The event featured Professor of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, colonel-Sharif Rakhimovich Kobilov.

The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the Graduate school of business and entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Avazbaevich Kholboev. He emphasized that the event is widely held under the vital slogan: “The Constitution is the guarantee of human dignity, freedom, equality, and justice!” in accordance with Presidential Decree No. F-60 of November 21, 2025, On the preparation and celebration of Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

“Our Constitution is a sacred document that guarantees the freedom, rights and interests of our people. It serves the democratic development of Uzbekistan, socio-economic growth and the well-being of our nation,” he noted.

During the event, Professor of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, colonel-Sharif Rakhimovich Kobilov, elaborated on the content and essence of the Constitution, as well as highlighted the importance of ethical norms and anti-corruption behavior in the education system, including the fundamental concepts of conflict of interest.

It was also noted that in order to combat corruption, individuals must develop an internal “immunity”, which emerges through a “vaccine of honesty”. This “vaccine” enters a person’s heart not through a needle, but through the light of faith, cleansing one’s conscience. Every human being receives this “vaccine of honesty” through blood and mother’s milk. If a person performs their work honestly, it means they are naturally “vaccinated with honesty.” The formation of such immunity is undoubtedly entrusted to parents, educational institution staff, as well as the intellectual and spiritually developed strata of our society.

Afterwards, the acting head of the Compliance Control Department of the Graduate school of business and entrepreneurship, Olimjon Aminzhonovich Ismatov, presented information on the anti-corruption measures being implemented at the Graduate school, as well as proposals and recommendations for strengthening the foundations of integrity in public service.

In conclusion, faculty members, staff and listeners exchanged opinions with the speakers and received answers to their questions.
