As part of the short-term training program currently taking place in the United States, listeners of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship visited the Research and Innovation Center of Pittsburg State University.

During the visit, detailed information was provided about the center’s activities, ongoing scientific research and innovative projects. Participants closely studied modern technologies, processes of commercializing scientific research, as well as the university’s established system for developing and testing practical projects.

Representatives of the center also shared insights on supporting startup initiatives, the conditions created for young researchers and the ongoing efforts to bring their ideas into practice. It was noted that, as a result of the research conducted at the center, the production of technical devices necessary for various industries has been launched and this process is planned to be further expanded in the coming years.

At the end of the meeting, a questions and answers session was held between program participants and the center’s specialists, allowing for mutual exchange of knowledge and experience. The visit provided members of the delegation with a broad understanding of the functioning of the innovation ecosystem, the model of cooperation between the university and industry, and the mechanisms for supporting startups.
