An open dialogue on the topic “Supporting, Developing and Financing Startup Projects” was organized at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship with the participation of the country’s leading venture companies and university students.

The main goal of the event was to support young people in implementing their innovative ideas in the form of projects, to help them develop practical skills in venture financing and to create a communication platform with potential investors.

About 70 students from nine universities across the country took part in the meeting. Representatives of “Yoshlar Ventures”, “IT Park Ventures” and “United Ventures” shared their experiences, spoke about the procedures for financing startups, the process of reviewing documents and the prospects for the development of the venture ecosystem in the country.

In addition, students presented seven startup projects in the fields of banking, construction, manufacturing and education, including:

• Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship — SkipLine (an innovative queue management service for banks);

• Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology — glass fiber filter;

• TIIKhMMI National Research University — Plazion (a device for reducing gases in the air);

• Tashkent State Agrarian University — Bionutra (production of natural antiseptic products);

• TUIT — Economayzer D-XRU (a device that reduces vehicle fuel consumption);

• Tashkent Architecture and Construction University — QURILISH360 (a digital construction management platform);

• Tashkent State Medical University — visual electronic textbook project.

Experts from venture companies highly evaluated the presented projects for their scientific and technological orientation and provided practical recommendations for their further improvement. In particular, they emphasized the need to deepen market analysis, prepare detailed information about the products and complete the economic calculations.

During the event, participants discussed practical aspects of establishing startups, attracting investment, and cooperating with venture structures.

The meeting served as an important platform for young entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and build new connections. Participants agreed to hold similar dialogues in the future on a larger scale.
