The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship organized an online lecture with the participation of Shiyu He, Regional Manager for Central Asia and the CIS of the global B2B platform Alibaba.com.

During the meeting, the international expert spoke in detail about the capabilities of the Alibaba.com platform, which unites more than 200 thousand suppliers and about 200 million products, electronic document management, an order management system, digital marketing tools, and analytical solutions that serve the digitalization of foreign trade.

The directions of digitalization of cross-border e-commerce systems and export processes, which help enterprises of Uzbekistan enter international markets, were also studied in detail.

The advantages of using B2B platforms for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses were considered - reducing trade costs, simplifying transactions, and expanding export routes. Participants were provided with information on online orders, electronic payments, logistics services and modern marketing methods.

Shiyu He elaborated on strategies for finding a niche in global markets using digital technologies, ways to adapt content to local conditions and effective cooperation with international buyers.

At the end of the lecture, an interactive question-and-answer session was held, during which the participants discussed aspects of using digital tools for the development of export activities of Uzbek companies.
