Innovative cooperation is being established in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics

Innovative cooperation is being established between the Institute of Physics and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship for the development of semiconductors and microelectronics.
For reference. Founded in 1943, Physical-Technical Institute is one of the oldest scientific institutions, played crucial role in development of science of Uzbekistan. Institute of Nuclear Physics, Institute of Electronics, the Scientific Production Company "Physics of the Sun" and Institute of Materials Science were separated from Physical-Technical Institute and established as an independent scientific organization.
The Institute has is more than 102 scientific staff, also 2 academicians, 22 doctors of science, 26 candidates, there are more than 30 large research and technological complexes, Helio polygon. The main areas of research activities are physics of semiconductors, solid state theory, high-energy physics, solar energy conversion, instrumentation from semiconductor in the field of electronics, optoelectronics and photonics.
During the meeting, the institute's research work on semiconductors, the place of the institute in this area and the difference in methods from other research institutes, the project to create a chip design center, international cooperation, the current state and prospects for the development of semiconductor production and microelectronics in Uzbekistan, and the joint implementation of startup projects were discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on mutual cooperation in the exchange of scientific research information in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics, joint implementation of start-up projects, holding joint seminars, trainings and conferences.
