Within the framework of the IX International Scientific Conference, an international scientific essay competition is being held

As part of the IX International Scientific Conference of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy (RFTA) of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, “Platform Economy: New Models of Growth, Trade and International Cooperation,” an international scientific essay competition is being held.
Master’s degree listeners are invited to participate.
The following essay topics are proposed:1
- Cross-Border Trade through Digital Platforms: A New Path to Foreign Markets or New Forms of Dependence?
- National and Global Digital Platforms: Competition or a Space for Cooperation?
- Digital Platforms and the Global South: Opportunities to Overcome the Digital and Trade Divide.
- Artificial Intelligence in International Trade: A Tool for Reducing Barriers or a Source of New Risks?
- Digital Platform Responsibility in Cross-Border Trade: Where Does the Role of an Intermediary End?
Essays are accepted in Russian or English, with a maximum length of 3,000 words. The paper must be submitted in MS Word format.
Submission deadline: October 26, 2026.
Winners among Master’s degree listeners will have the opportunity to complete a short-term professional development programme at RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia free of charge.
