The opening ceremony of a new center belonging to the “Dugonalar” Society for Women with Disabilities was held in the city of Yangiyul.

The event highlighted ongoing efforts to support women with disabilities, promote their employment, and develop their entrepreneurial activities.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the “Dugonalar” Society and the Tashkent Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship. As part of the cooperation, short-term training courses were organized for the society’s staff, including a three-month computer literacy course.

Following the training, several members of the society successfully launched their own businesses. In addition, a preschool education facility for children with disabilities was established, where 16 children currently receive daytime care services.

The event was attended by responsible officials, representatives of relevant organizations and community activists.

It was noted that this cooperation contributes to enhancing the knowledge and skills of women with disabilities, supporting their entrepreneurial initiatives and implementing new social projects.
