The Surkhandarya regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship is carrying out systematic efforts to train the population in entrepreneurial skills, support their business initiatives and create new jobs.

In particular, participants of the short-term course “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Business”, organized this year, are successfully launching their own business activities and achieving their first results in the field of entrepreneurship.

For example, course participant D. Khafizova established a retail outlet. Within the framework of this activity, three people have been provided with permanent employment. In addition, specialists from the Surkhandarya branch provided practical assistance in improving her business plan, which enabled her to obtain a preferential loan of 25 million soums.

Another participant, H. Doniyarova, effectively applied the knowledge and skills gained during the course and started entrepreneurial activity in the field of agricultural production. During the training, she acquired essential knowledge in entrepreneurship fundamentals, business planning and business management. Currently, the entrepreneur is expanding her activities using a preferential loan of 30 million soums and has provided permanent employment to two people.

In addition, graduate H. Berdiyeva expressed her intention to apply her experience in tailoring to entrepreneurial activity. Specialists of the Surkhandarya branch provided her with business planning skills and assisted in the purchase of a sewing machine worth 4.5 million soums through a subsidy scheme.

As a result, course participants are not only gaining theoretical knowledge in entrepreneurship but are also gaining opportunities to establish their own businesses, access preferential financial resources and expand their business activities.
