Events aimed at developing entrepreneurship held in Surkhandarya region

On June 10 of this year, a series of important events were held in the Surkhandarya region aimed at developing entrepreneurship, further improving the business environment and increasing the population’s economic literacy.
A meeting with entrepreneurs operating in the region was organized at the Regional Entrepreneurs’ Center. The event was attended by specialists from the Surkhandarya regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Surkhandarya regional department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the territorial office of the State Assets Management Agency, as well as the Consumer Rights Protection Agency.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the main goals and objectives of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, its activities in training qualified personnel in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as the work carried out by the regional branch. Information was also presented on the implementation of modern corporate governance standards in state-owned enterprises, improving transparency and efficiency and the effective use of state assets.
Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry informed participants about the favorable legal, economic and social conditions being created for entrepreneurs, as well as measures taken to protect their rights and legitimate interests. Representatives of the Consumer Rights Protection Agency, in turn, spoke about measures implemented to protect consumer rights in the housing and communal services sector, construction, transport, communications, telecommunications, banking and finance, insurance and education sectors.
At the end of the event, specialists provided detailed answers to participants’ questions and an exchange of views took place.
In addition, a round table on the topic “Marketing and Effective Sales of Products” was held in Termez in cooperation with the Department of Employment and Poverty Reduction.
During the event, the main principles of marketing, identification of customer needs, value creation, the 4P model, customer segmentation and the “problem–solution–value” concept were discussed in detail. Practical recommendations were also presented on effective sales methods, the application of marketing strategies, increasing competitiveness and the use of modern marketing tools.
Within the framework of the events, special emphasis was placed on the importance of training business leaders with innovative thinking, modern knowledge and skills, developing entrepreneurial activity and enhancing the population’s business competencies.
