Entrepreneurial Training Seminars Organized for Youth and Women in Karakalpakstan

A series of training seminars aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills, supporting innovative ideas and encouraging business initiatives among young people and women were organized by the Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

In particular, a training seminar titled “Basics of Startups” was held at the Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, focusing on enhancing the innovative potential of students and youth. The event was organized in cooperation with the Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship of Karakalpakstan and the IT Park branch.

During the seminar, participants discussed key priorities in the development of the country’s innovative economy, the effective use of scientific and applied research results and the integration of modern products, high technologies and new services into production sectors.

Special attention was given to promoting startup culture among young people, systematically engaging them in entrepreneurial activities and establishing new business entities based on innovative ideas. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants gained essential knowledge and skills on bringing startup projects to the implementation stage, identifying funding sources and working effectively with investors.

In addition, another training seminar titled “Organizing Entrepreneurial Activity in the Service Sector” was held at the Nukus State Innovation University building in the Khodjeyli district. The event was organized in cooperation with the Karakalpakstan Regional Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Karakalpakstan Regional Office of the State Assets Management Agency.

This seminar was designed for women and graduates interested in starting their own businesses. Participants were provided with detailed explanations on transparent mechanisms for the sale and leasing of state assets, practical aspects of public-private partnership mechanisms, as well as the use of the “E-auksion” and “E-shop” electronic platforms.

At the end of the seminars, participants received answers from experts to their questions and shared their proposals and initiatives for further developing entrepreneurial activities.

These events contribute to strengthening the entrepreneurial potential of youth and women, fostering innovative thinking and supporting new business initiatives in the region.
