A practical meeting and master class dedicated to the development of small-scale manufacturing entrepreneurship in the field of metalworking and metal structure production was held in the “Qumtepa” mahalla of Uychi district, Namangan region. The event was organized by the Namangan Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the regional department of the State Assets Management Agency.
The main purpose of the meeting was to promote successful practical experience among entrepreneurs and citizens interested in launching their own manufacturing businesses.
As part of the event, participants visited the “Kumtepa” youth small industrial zone, which specializes in blacksmithing and metalworking production. Guests were introduced to the existing manufacturing processes, newly created jobs, and samples of finished products.
Particular interest was drawn to the practical experience of entrepreneur Abdinozir Madaminov from the “Balandarik” mahalla citizens’ assembly, who established a metal products manufacturing business on a 3.5-sotix land area. During the production season, the enterprise provides employment for up to six people and manufactures more than 10 types of modern metal structures and products. During the master class, the entrepreneur shared practical insights with participants on organizing production, working with clients, and developing a business.
Participants were also informed about modern opportunities available for entrepreneurs, government support measures, financial literacy, mechanisms for leasing and privatizing state-owned properties, as well as public-private partnership projects.
The practical format of the event enabled participants to gain real-world knowledge and experience, explore successful business cases, and discuss prospects for developing their own enterprises in the manufacturing sector.
