The Surkhandarya Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship organized a roundtable discussion on the topic “Green Economy” at the Regional Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

Residents of the “Turon” mahalla in Termez city, as well as biology teachers, actively participated in the event.

During the roundtable discussion, participants received detailed information about the essence and importance of the green economy, energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources, global environmental challenges, the role of modern digital and “smart” technologies in ecology, as well as green entrepreneurship and future professions.

Special attention was paid to the ongoing global “Green + Digital” transformation processes, the development of environmental culture, and the rational use of natural resources.

The event also included an exchange of views on current environmental issues, and participants concluded the discussion with interesting questions and suggestions related to the topic.

The organizers emphasized the importance of increasing environmental awareness and culture among the population, as well as widely implementing the principles of sustainable development in everyday life and professional activities.
