From April 13 to 20, 2026, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted an intensive training course titled “ESG Fundamentals for the Banking Sector” at the headquarters of JSCB Trast Bank. The program was designed for members of the Board of Directors, representatives of the Management Board and senior executives, and was aimed at the systematic integration of ESG principles into corporate governance practices.

During the course, participants examined transformations in the global financial system, the increasing requirements of investors and regulators and the impact of ESG factors on the resilience of banking institutions. The participants developed a structured understanding of strategic sustainability management and approaches to integrating ESG factors into risk management and credit policy.

The program combined theoretical sessions with interactive workshops, enabling participants to acquire practical skills in analyzing environmental and social risks, assessing loan portfolios in line with ESG criteria and developing relevant management decisions.
