A representative of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship participated in an international seminar-training organized on September 14–15 in Tashkent by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On the first day, the seminar titled “Sustainability in Accreditation: International Experience and National Standards” was held at Tashkent State University of Economics, while the second day took place at the National Institute of Pedagogical Excellence named after Abdulla Avloni.

The event focused on the preparation of higher education institutions for international accreditation, improving quality assurance systems, international accreditation standards, and European approaches to quality assurance.

International experts from Germany, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Portugal shared their experience in international accreditation and quality assurance in higher education.

In particular, representatives of Portugal’s A3ES Agency - President of the Board João Sàágua, Secretary-General Raquel Santos, and Quality Assessment Consultant Luís Gouveia - presented Portugal’s experience in accreditation, European quality assurance standards, and international accreditation practices.

The knowledge and experience gained during the seminar will contribute to improving accreditation processes at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, strengthening quality assurance, and supporting institutional development in line with international standards.
