As part of his visit to Fergana Region, Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Avazbaevich Kholbaev held a meeting with Davlyatov Shohruh Muratovich, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovation of Fergana State Technical University.

The meeting addressed the assignment of Fergana Region to the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, as well as the tasks set to provide a scientific basis for the socio-economic development of the region and analytical support for investment and entrepreneurship projects.

The possibilities of utilizing the scientific, educational, and innovative potential of Fergana State Technical University in implementing these tasks were also considered. Currently, more than 20,000 students study at the university, which has modern educational laboratories and has introduced digital learning technologies.

The meeting also noted that JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” has been assigned to the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship in the area of developing the chemical industry of the country. The participants exchanged views on the possibilities of utilizing the university’s scientific potential to provide a scientific basis for the development of the sector and to develop practical proposals.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the possibilities for cooperation within the framework of scientific research and analytical activities aimed at the development of Fergana Region and the chemical industry were discussed.
