On May 28, 2025, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship concluded a two-day practical seminar titled “Developing Innovative Business Models with AI in Uzbekistan.” This event was organized with the support of the Asian Development Bank and targeted representatives from the private sector, business associations, the banking and finance sector and government organizations.

 During the second day of the seminar, participants engaged with international experts to discuss specific examples of how artificial intelligence tools are being applied across various economic sectors. They evaluated the potential for improving financial performance in enterprises through the implementation of AI technologies. Additionally, based on the materials studied during the seminar, attendees prepared presentations on how they could apply artificial intelligence within their own organizations.

 The discussions also addressed the responsible use of modern technologies in business processes, their impact on future job markets, and the opportunities for human creativity that arise from collaboration with machine technologies. Participants explored both the opportunities and challenges that come with integrating AI into business operations, as well as strategies and methods that can enhance companies' competitive strategies. They also discussed ways to improve the digital skills of human resources within organizations.

 In the concluding segment of the seminar, experts and participants engaged in an open discussion about the prospects for artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan in both the short and long term. They examined ways to foster cooperation between the public sector, private businesses, and academic institutions in leveraging AI for economic growth. The conversation also highlighted the emerging threats and challenges associated with modern technologies for society and humanity's future development.

 At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates recognizing their successful completion of the program, which they will use to apply their newfound knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence across various sectors of the economy in Uzbekistan.
