New Opportunities and Prospects for Tourism Development Discussed in Bukhara

Bukhara region holds a special place not only in Uzbekistan but also worldwide thanks to its rich historical heritage, unique architectural monuments and strong national traditions. In today’s global environment, the development of the tourism sector plays an important role in boosting the regional economy, creating new jobs, and expanding international cooperation.
In this regard, the Bukhara Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers, together with the Bukhara Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School, organized a roundtable discussion on the topic: “Tourism Development in Bukhara Region: Opportunities and Prospects”.
The event brought together graduating students, entrepreneurs working in the tourism industry and leading experts in the field. Representatives of the Bukhara Regional Tourism Department, IT Park Bukhara, the E-auksion platform and the Entrepreneurship Development Company delivered presentations on the implementation of digital technologies, modern approaches, and innovative business models in tourism.
During the discussion, participants addressed issues related to improving tourism infrastructure, developing domestic and inbound tourism and creating comfortable conditions for visitors. Special attention was given to digitalization processes, the expansion of online services and the effective use of electronic platforms, which generated significant interest among attendees.
As part of the event, a master class was conducted by Behzod Usmonov, founder of the “Al Voris” travel company. Drawing from his professional experience, he shared insights on achieving success in the tourism market, applying innovative approaches and delivering high-quality customer service. His presentation became a valuable source of motivation and inspiration for young participants.
The roundtable served as an effective platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, promoting new ideas and supporting young professionals. Such initiatives contribute to the further development of tourism in the Bukhara region, strengthening its international reputation and enhancing the region’s economic potential.
