oday, September 22, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship is presenting new guidance on sustainability reporting for large state-owned enterprises.

The document was prepared by PwC experts as part of the “ESG Center of Excellence” initiative, with the support of JSC “UzAssets” and the Asian Development Bank. It is designed for companies that are at the early stages of implementing sustainability reporting and covers the following key areas:

• key approaches and international requirements;
• transition provisions for the first reporting period;
• application of SASB Standards;
• management reporting and double materiality assessment.

The event brings together executives and specialists in transformation, ESG, finance and environmental management from more than 20 systemically important state-owned enterprises, including Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Company, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, Uzmetkombinat, Uzbekneftegaz, Uzbekistan Airways and others.
