Within the framework of attracting foreign investors to the economy of Uzbekistan, on September 21 of this year, a meeting with a delegation of Chinese business circles was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Economic Council of Joint-Stock Commercial Companies of China.

The delegation was represented by the heads of leading Chinese companies operating in the fields of construction, agriculture, logistics, mining, and the organization of business events, trainings, and training for industrial sector managers.

A representative of the Economic Committee of Joint-Stock Commercial Companies of China informed the participants that the purpose of the delegation's visit is to familiarize themselves with the investment and industrial potential of Uzbekistan's regions, establish business cooperation with local entrepreneurs, and discuss promising business projects for joint implementation with Uzbek companies in the republic.

During the meeting, a presentation was held on the activities of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship increasing the level of business knowledge and professional competencies of small and medium-sized business representatives, as well as the work being carried out to involve the local population in opening and developing their own business.

The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship also presented information on the investment potential of the region and the possibilities of implementing joint projects in the field of agriculture using the example of the Fergana region. The guests familiarized themselves with the prospects for developing the region's agriculture, specifically the possibilities for deep processing of fruit and vegetable products.

During the meeting, opportunities were discussed for implementing promising investment projects in the production of construction materials, processing agricultural products, creating full-cycle agricultural complexes, as well as the participation of Chinese companies in various production projects for the deep processing of mineral raw materials and the export of high-value-added products to foreign markets.

The Chinese delegation expressed interest in further deepening business ties with Uzbek enterprises and organizing joint production based on the use of local raw materials to produce competitive products intended for sale in both domestic and foreign markets.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop business contacts, facilitate the implementation of Uzbek-Chinese joint business projects in the regions of Uzbekistan, and exchange business visits between Chinese and Uzbek entrepreneurs.
