A commemorative event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan is being widely celebrated as an important historical milestone in the life of our country. This year’s celebrations are being held under the noble motto: “One Homeland, One People - Building a New Life and Future Together!”

In connection with this significant occasion, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence was also held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the event, the leadership of the Graduate School of Business delivered speeches highlighting the historical significance of the country’s independence, the path of development Uzbekistan has pursued over the past 35 years, and the large-scale reforms being implemented in the economic and social spheres.

As was emphasized, independence has become not only a symbol of statehood and national identity for Uzbekistan, but also a solid foundation that has enabled the people of Uzbekistan to determine their own future and realize the country’s immense potential. Today, particular attention is being paid to developing human capital, building modern knowledge and management skills, improving the entrepreneurial environment and supporting economic activity as important drivers of the development of New Uzbekistan.

The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship plays a significant role in these processes. The School places particular emphasis on training highly qualified professionals equipped with modern knowledge and skills in corporate and project management, business and entrepreneurship; enhancing the professional capacity of managers and specialists; and implementing educational and research-based practical projects aimed at fostering the entrepreneurial environment.

During the event, faculty members also delivered speeches and shared their views on the transformations that have taken place in the fields of education and science during the years of independence, the wide range of opportunities created for young people and the responsibility of educational institutions in training competitive professionals equipped with modern knowledge and skills.

The speakers particularly emphasized that, at the current stage of the country’s development, it is important for every citizen - especially representatives of the education and science sectors - to demonstrate dedication to their profession, continuously strive for innovation and new knowledge and make a meaningful contribution to the development of society.

As part of the event, a ceremony was held to solemnly present the commemorative badge “35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, established to mark the 35th anniversary of the country’s state independence, to a group of active members of the Graduate School of Business team.

Alongside reflecting on the development path achieved during the years of independence, the event also placed particular emphasis on future priorities, goals and objectives. It was noted that efforts to further improve the quality of education, expand international cooperation, train modern management professionals, develop research and innovation and prepare highly qualified specialists for entrepreneurship and the private sector will continue consistently.

The Independence Day celebration is not only an opportunity to reflect on the path we have traveled and appreciate the achievements made, but also a moment to once again deeply recognize our responsibility for the future.
