On May 18, 2026, a targeted training course titled “Startup Basics” was held at the Youth Affairs Agency building in the city of Nukus. The event was organized by the Karakalpakstan Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Agency for the Preparation for Privatization and Privatization of State Assets.

The course was attended by senior specialists of the regional branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, A. Urinbaev and B. Alimov, as well as senior specialist of the Privatization Agency, B. Juginisov.

During the event, special attention was given to the role of scientific and applied research in the development of an innovative economy, as well as the implementation of modern technologies, products and services in production. Participants were informed about opportunities to utilize vacant land plots and state-owned properties available for lease as an important tool for developing entrepreneurial activity.

It was also emphasized that promoting the startup movement among young people, integrating them into the entrepreneurial environment and establishing private business entities based on promising innovative ideas are key priorities.

Within the training course, detailed presentations were delivered on current issues in supporting innovative and startup projects, mechanisms for implementing innovations and the key conditions and criteria for developing a startup ecosystem.

         At the end of the course, participants gained practical knowledge and skills in the step-by-step implementation of startup projects, their financing and the support of innovative initiatives.
