A roundtable discussion on the topic “Entrepreneurship Fundamentals and the First Steps in Business” was held at Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in Gulistan, with the participation of 11th-grade students.

The event was organized as part of the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Action Plan for the Development of the Activities of the Syrdarya Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, approved on April 1, 2026.

Representatives of the Syrdarya Regional Branch of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, as well as partner organizations operating in the field of electronic online auctions, took part in the roundtable.

The main objective of the event was to foster young people's interest in entrepreneurship, develop their initial knowledge and practical skills in business management, and provide an understanding of the opportunities offered by electronic trading platforms and online auctions.

During the meeting, students were introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business, the initial steps involved in starting a business, ways of operating in the modern business environment, the effective use of electronic trading platforms, and the procedures for participating in online auctions.

Particular attention was paid to developing a business idea and putting it into practice, studying market demand, making effective use of modern digital tools and efficiently organizing business processes.

The event was conducted in an interactive format, featuring open discussions and a question-and-answer session. Students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive relevant explanations and recommendations from specialists. They also shared their views and ideas regarding entrepreneurship and the opportunities provided by electronic commerce.

Such meetings contribute to expanding young people's knowledge of entrepreneurship, developing initiative and entrepreneurial thinking, building a practical understanding of modern economic processes and acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to launch independent business activities in the future.

Encouraging young people to pursue entrepreneurship, supporting their business ideas, and preparing them for the modern business environment are important factors in fostering new initiatives and turning promising projects into reality.
